“I’ve had a keen interest in photography since my childhood. Photography remained a big part of what I did and what inspired me.” Peter Thomas

Did you always want to be an artist? How did you get started?

It’s hard to believe, but that first wedding was way back in 2005! After that first wedding, things started to snowball. We now photograph families, newborns and pets in the studio along with weddings across Ireland.

Who or what inspires you as an artist?

More than all the great photographers across the world, the people in front of my camera inspire me the most. A photographer works with what is already there – the bond of love and connection between each other. We are simply the privileged ones to capture it.

What makes your pieces unique?

The style of our portraiture is elegant and casual. These two terms rarely come together in photography and we work hard to create highly sought after pieces of work.

Is there a specific technique that you use?

Our Newborn photography is a wonder to watch. Stacey has a wonderful way of soothing babies to sleep and moving them into poses without disturbing them. Parents often call us to find out how Stacey got their baby asleep afterwards! We have honed a few dog whispering techniques too!

Do you have a favourite material that you work with?

Very expensive cameras and lights!

What projects are you currently working on?

We are currently finalists in 5 categories of portraiture so are working on ensuring we win all 5 of those awards! We have also won Pet Photographer of the Year NI two years in a row and wish to make it a third!

Where can we buy your work?

By having your own photoshoot at the studio, you will have the opportunity to purchase your images once you see them.
